Wow.  This is really sad.  Only 4 people generally read my xanga page.  Whoever you are, thank you!

I wrote the following email to a protestant youth website that suggested how to discuss religion with other beliefs:

Hello,

I was browsing your website and came across the “How to Share Your Faith With…” section, which I must say fairly accurately summarizes the various beliefs.  However, I noticed an error on a few of the sections marked Salvation that conflicted with the Bible, as they said that salvation is through faith alone.

I did a few searches with various translations on Biblegateway.com for the words ‘faith alone’ and the only scripture verse that kept coming up was James 2:24 that says, “You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone” (NASB) and “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone” (KJV).

I just wanted to let you know.

God Bless,
Drew

I know.  I’m a rear-end, but I just needed to get my blood flowing.

Still no camera.

Have any of you 4 readers felt like you were in the middle of dark night of the soul, but knew it wasn’t that because your faith/sin ratio was the opposite from what it was supposed to be?
Wait.  Maybe that’s why I feel like this.
Dang.

  1. I think the 4 readers only counts people who actually land on your page, and not the number of people who are subscribers.
I am in the middle of a dark night of the soul.

  2. Did you get a response to the email??? Or did you just send it?

  3. I read you all the time.
I feel like my soul has yet to see the light apart from my pre-age-of-reason times.  Well, save the light of hope, that is.

I agree that there are more people who read what you say.  Personally I am subscribed and therefore read when the subscriptions come.
