I’ve decided to start recording a CD.  I haven’t done much in the way of recording because I’m so tied up in it being perfect and that I haven’t written my own songs.  So I’m just going to record a bunch of Jesus songs that have meant something to me throughout my life.

There are certain songs that I can’t quite cover like, All You’re Missin’ is a Heartache by Michael W. Smith (circa 1988) and I Love the Lord by Petra (found on Petra Praise, 1989 – sounds like AC/DC).  I haven’t heard these songs in sooooo long.  I’m about to plunge into the memories of Rick Cua and his Midnight Sun album (ahem, www.myspace.com/rickcua , “I can I will” was my absolute favorite song what I was 7.  Southern Rock 80’s Led Zeppelin Christian knock off).
This is absolutely insane.  I am totally blown away by this music.  Talk about early chastity teaching – the myspace song Young Boy Young Girl was also one of my favorites; I just didn’t understand anything about the song, but it’s pretty in your face.

Anyway, I’m gonna have to figure out what to do for songs before high school.
